Double stitch needlepoint is very attractive for filling areas in both needlepoint and cross stitch projects. And again in my Compass Needlepoint. In a square or rectangular area, there will be area.

Anyhow, we began with a slab that students could pretty much decorate however they wanted. In the winter, most of them were created with the intention of being given as a gift so many of the kids made them personalized. For valentines day, they traces a heart template and then added details with texture or building little things on.

This weekend, like this week, was low key. quiet and peaceful were on the agenda. Pjs was the wardrobe choice of all. nibbling on festive leftovers was the feast of choice. Errands that had been put off had to be run. at some point we had to get dressed and fill the depleted larder. Much time was spent pondering the upcoming new year. Worked side by side on our outside chores. Just the kind of weekend i crave.
